80 percent of Nigerian women in Italy arrived for prostitution – UN

The United Nations’ International Organization for Migration (IOM) has said that about eighty
per cent of Nigerian women who arrived Italy by boat in the first half of 2016 were trafficked for prostitution.

“What we have seen this year is a crisis; it is absolutely unprecedented and is the most significant increase in the number of Nigerian women arriving in Italy for 10 years,” UK Guardian quoted
Simona Moscarelli, an anti-trafficking expert at the IOM.

She said majority of the women were being deliberately brought in for sexual exploitation purposes
as criminal gangs and trafficking networks engaging in the sexual exploitation of younger Nigerian girls had expanded.

In 2014, about 1,500 Nigerian women arrived by sea. In 2015 this figure had increased to 5,633. Moscarelli warned that the current policy of placing Nigerian women in reception centers along with thousands of other migrants was playing to the traffickers’ advantage, with women regularly going missing.

Most Nigerian women who arrived in Italy are already victims of trafficking, many have been
subjected to serious sexual exploitation in Libya, she said.

“They are really treated like slaves. They arrive Italy with debts of about £40,000 for their journey  from Nigeria, which they are expected to pay back.

“Nigerian trafficking gangs use a toxic mix of false promises of legitimate employment and traditional ‘juju’ ceremonies to recruit and gain psychological control over their victims,” the official added.

Photo/Video: Former German ISIS militant claimed to be a bystander but new video shows him preparing hostages for execution

Former German Islamic State militant Harry S, who traveled to Syria to join the jihadist group had claimed he was only a bystander and had called on comrades to stop the public execution of hostages.
Now, video footage has emerged showing the man encouraging the crowd before the massacre.

The video which surfaced on Monday, October 3rd, shows the former militant shuffling hostages in Palmyra into formation for a public execution, then alongside his fellows joining hands, chanting in unison.

The 28-year-old has consistently maintained since his July 2015 arrest that he was never an active participant in the violence during his 4-month stay in Syria, insisting that he had been a bystander in propaganda videos and had never even completed his military training.

In the footage uncovered by German broadcaster ZDF, Harry S. is also depicted encouraging the crowd to cheer shortly before the men are summarily shot.
Before damning revelations, Harry has regaled the Humburg court where he is currently on trial with harrowing stories that made him become disillusioned with IS and wish to return home to Germany.
"I witnessed stonings, beheadings, shootings, hands chopped off and many other things," he said in an interview before the trial. "I've seen child soldiers, 13-year-old boys with explosive belts and Kalashnikovs. Some boys even driving cars and involved in executions," he added.
According to the Washington Post, the ex-jihadist's lawyer Attorney Udo Würtz appeared just as surprised as the public to learn that Harry S. had been less than truthful when he said "stood on the side" of the violence and "said no to the killing" when other militants suggested they shot the hostages.

Even before his arrest, Harry S. was well known to authorities in the city  of Bremen, having committed a number of petty crimes in his teens before eventually robbing a super market. After a few years of living in London and converting to Islam, he was arrested in Germany in 2012 for failing to pay probation fines. He spent a brief stint in prison where he told Radio Bremen he was radicalized by fellow inmates.

Official estimates suggest that around 870 Germans have traveled to Syria or Iraq to join Islamic extremists. According to ZDF, around 270 have returned.

Russia has warned the United states to stop holding talks with them from 'a position of force' after the US announced that it had ended diplomatic relations with Russia over Russia's continued assistance of Syrian forces in the continual attacks on civilians in Aleppo, Syria.
Relations between the U.S. and Russia has never been this low since the Cold War as Russia also announced on Tuesday it has ended it's cooperation with the U.S. on a 16-year-old program for the disposal of weapons-grade plutonium used to make nuclear bombs.
In the 16 year old agreement, both countries agreed to dispose of 34 tons of plutonium, enough for thousands of nuclear bombs, but now Russia has ended the agreement over what it called Washington's "unfriendly actions" toward Russia.

10 Things Women Secretly Want In Bed… But Are Too Embarrassed To Ask.

She likes to play dress-up and we don't mean a Disney princess.

From early age, women have been taught to be good girls. Don’t wear short skirts, don’t reveal so much cleavage, sit properly, and don’t be the girl every guy dates. The mixed messages of being empowered and independent at the same time to acting virginal are beyond ridiculous.

It’s no wonder that as women get older, they find themselves caught up between what their natural body wants in sex and how she is supposed to behave. Sex is a natural act among consenting adults. As long as there is no one getting hurt in the process, just about anything goes. read more after the cut.
